When we first arrived in the park, our first stop was to check on the boat tour of Gray glacier. As luck would have it, a tour was leaving that very minute. They would hold up the bus for us so we could get our things and on board. Of course it takes forever for bikers to get situated so when we were finally ready, everyone on the bus waiting for us cheered. The bus ride was about ¼ of a mile and than it was off to the boat. ¼ mile? I don’t know what the point of this bus ride was. We got on the boat and we were off.

The trip lasted about 2 hours and cost $80. We thought it was only $40, but they later told us that they were referring to pesos. Convenient mistake.

The next day we hiked around the park a bit.

We hung out in the park for about three days. Than it was time to hit the road again.

With the exception of backpackers, the park seemed pretty deserted. Don’t think too many people are willing to pay the steep prices charged by this place. This is a national park, that aint right.
